X is an apartment development located in Kirra, on the southern beaches of the Gold Coast.
Claiming prime position on Australia’s most famous coastline, the fourteen-level development will have 53 apartments across fourteen levels.
When branding this project, our goal was to create a sense of entrique and place. So we chose the letter ‘X’ to mark the development as its own destination. We approached the logo using a more personal, organic mark made from brush-strokes. This hinted at nautical themes of x marks the spot, along with the handwritten quality of a personal note to a loved one that is signed off with an X. These became themes for the language used throughout the campaign.
Pops of bright, sunny colour formed the brand palette to blend seamlessly with the laid back style of Kirra Beach.
